This policy explains how CloudXHosting ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use cloudxhosting.us, our client portal and our services.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, company, postal address, phone and tax ID you provide.
- Billing records: invoices and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store full card numbers or security codes — only the card brand, last four digits and expiry.
- Domain registrant data: contact details required by registries and ICANN policies, shared with our registrar partner.
- Service and security data: IP addresses, sign-in history, support tickets and logs needed to operate, secure and support our services.
- AI assistant conversations: messages you send to the assistant, kept to provide the service and improve support quality.
How we use it
To provide and bill for services, register domains, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, send service and security notices, and meet legal obligations. Optional marketing emails can be turned off at any time in your portal.
Sharing
We share data only with providers that help us operate — payment processing (Stripe), domain registration, email delivery and, if you use the assistant, the AI provider — and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest, two-factor authentication is available for every account, and access by our staff is role-restricted and audited.
Retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for tax and legal purposes. Hosting data is deleted after termination according to our retention schedule.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your information, or request a copy, by contacting support@cloudxhosting.us. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, which we honour.
